Tom Kerins received his Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 1981 from the University of California, Davis. He went onto earn a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990. 

 

From 1990-1993, Tom was an Assistant Professor of Economics at the USAF Academy in Colorado. In 1991-1992, Tom also held a position as Adjunct Professor of Economics at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs.

In 1998, he earned a Master's Degree in Financial Planning from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.

​

He is an avid Longhorns fan and Dodgers fan. Tom is married with 5 children.
